It’s not just a form. It’s the start of the session.

That questionnaire you fill out before we meet is how I start getting to know your home, your pace, your people. It’s how I figure out what really matters so I can walk in already grounded, already paying attention to the right things. Allowing me to be the observer.

The H family pictured pancakes stacked high with a birthday candle. They talked about lawn mower rides with dad and the brrm brrm sounds from their one-year-old. They even mentioned their cats...weren’t sure if they'd make an appearance, but I paid attention just in case. And when they did come around, I was ready.

By the time I arrived, I already knew where the light would fall just right in their front room. I knew they felt awkward posing, so we didn’t force it. We stayed in their rhythm instead. I focused on what they told me they valued most: giggles, comfort, snuggles, and that once-in-a-lifetime bond of nursing a baby who’s growing fast.

Afterward, Ashley wrote me to say:

“I have a new appreciation for my home, I never realized how truly beautiful it is.”

That’s what this is for.

These sessions aren’t about staging perfect moments. They’re about making room for your real ones and documenting them in a way that reminds you how beautiful your everyday already is.

Why the questionnaire matters:

It lets me understand your home’s natural light and flow before I arrive.

I know exactly what moments and emotions to focus on, so nothing important gets missed.

I learn how your family interacts and what helps everyone feel comfortable on camera.

It reveals any challenges upfront—like kids who need time to warm up or pets that might be shy.

This prep means the session feels calm and authentic, not rushed or staged.
