Shannen was the best, don’t think twice just hirer her! Not only is she so talented and able to capture the most beautiful moments, she is also very warm and brings a calming presence to the shoot. It felt effortless to work with her and it was fun. She played music, and just talked to you the whole time to make you feel comfortable, I felt like I knew her my whole life! She came in to take photos of my family for my little guys 1st birthday. I was blown away with how they turned out. She gave me a new appreciation for my home and captured moments I will cherish for a lifetime. It was worth every penny.

My couple session with Shannen is one I’ll remember forever. I can't find the perfect words to describe just how amazing and talented Shannen is. In addition to her sweet and down-to-earth nature, I am at a loss for words. She conversed with us and made us laugh, and it felt like we were just hanging out with Shannen, rather than being in a photo shoot. Although I was initially shy and nervous, she brought me out of my shell with patience and her cute jokes. When I received the gallery of photos, my heart skipped a beat. Each image allowed me to relive those precious moments. Shannen flawlessly captured us candidly in every shot, making it truly amazing. Her view of the world is something I'm obsessed with, and she's an artist. Her heart is put forth in every shot she takes. You will be in great hands with Shannen.

“...we carried on like it was any other Sunday afternoon.”
For my sons first birthday photos I wanted something that felt authentic. I myself am a photographer and while posed portraits have their time and place with my little guy I wanted photos that felt genuine and like us. I've been following Shannen on social media and I knew if I had the opportunity to work with her I had to jump on it. I always admired the personality of her photos and knew she was our gal. Shannen was open to ideas and suggestions and loved the idea of taking the photos in our home.
I will be honest I didn't exactly know what to expect when she arrived but it felt like a lifelong friend was coming over to play with us and our son. My son was so comfortable around her and we carried on like it was any other Sunday afternoon. When we received our teasers we were absolutely blown away. My husband who doesn't exactly love having his picture taken was even impressed by the overall experience. The teasers (along with the rest of the gallery) just feel like home. We are in the middle of moving and these photos are so precious having these sweet moments documented and preserved forever as we begin out next journey. I know this will not be our last session with Shannen.
